With an attendance of over 2.5 million pilgrims, the Hajj pilgrimage is the 2nd biggest major religious gathering with around 80+ nationalities. This made a massive undertaking for entourage to deliver the right message with the right approach.
entourage marketing & events in coordination with the Governorate of the Makkah region executed one of the most important campaigns of the Kingdom “Hajj 2019”.
Makkah Gov. H.H Prince Khaled Al-Faisal announced the awareness campaign during a press conference held in September. The awareness-raising campaign was titled “Hajj: Worship and civilized conduct” under the slogan “A Message of Peace”.
The press conference was attended by Makkah Deputy Gov. Prince Badr bin Sultan, chief of the Presidency of the Two Holy Mosques Dr. Abdulrahman Al-Sudais, and Deputy Hajj and Umrah Minister Dr. Abdul Fattah Mashat.
The integrated campaign aimed to create awareness around highlight 3 major aspects of the Hajj including to raise awareness of the importance of issuing Hajj permits, to warn pilgrims of possible negative behaviours during Hajj, and finally a thank-you message for Hajj employees and to pilgrims for their commitment to guidance.

Procedure to get the permit:
Awareness-raising campaign to ensure compliance with the KSA's applicable laws and directives. The extensive awareness-raising campaign was intended to serve pilgrims the time they leave home for Saudi Arabia until they return home. The message was conveyed through, multiple media channels including outdoor, TV , digital and print.
Behaviour: The campaign also intended to highlight the importance of ethical behaviour throughout the journey of pilgrims. The campaign unequivocally targeted pilgrims, citizens, expatriates and many peoples of the world. The hajj ministry distributed hundreds of thousands of informative material among pilgrims for the same purpose.
Thank You: A thank-you campaign was executed in the last phase of the campaign to appreciate the hard work of Hajj employees and to pilgrims for their commitment to guidance
The comprehensive camping was successfully executed across the GCC including UAE, Bahrain, Kuwait and Oman.
